We have recently visiting Beechwood school in Slough, Goldstone Primary school in Brighton and All Saints Primary school in Hastings. Here is some feedback from teachers at St Peters Community Infant and Nursery School, collected after our workshop by Mrs Lynch on 19/03/08.
'The children thouroughly enjoyed the workshop. It was well planned and we like the way that the children had some involvement in making music with instruments, singing and dancing, as well as seeing traditional Zimbabwean music and watching you perform'.
'The story you told was delivered in an engaging way and suitable to the age group. We liked that you used different languages in your story and involved the children'.
'Two children are from Zimbabwe and are new to the school and were very excited to hear you were from the same place! The children were mesmerised, and we are using what we leared in your workshop in our Castaway Festival celebrations'.
'We can't really think of any way you could improve your workshop, other than possibly bringing in some pictures of Africa'.
